First team party at Coach's house. Two-a-days. Dreadful prowlers. Sweating. Fatigue. Team competitions. Discipline. Morning workouts. Road trips.

20 hours a week. Victory. Defeat. Focus. Laughing. Morgan dancing. Kim hiding in the overhead bin of every bus. Lani in "Lani-Land". Lauren's black eye. My broken tooth. Alex stuck in an elevator. High class St. Louis hotel. Killian's baking. Two senior leaders. Three All-Conference selections. One CUSA All - Tournament selection. First ever Conference Semi-Final appearance. Four captains. One goal. A unit. A family.

These are only a few of the many memories of the 2010 season. The hard work was all worth it in the end. It was exciting to beat the 2nd seed Tulsa in the first round of the tournament and make school history with the first ever semi-final appearance. The goal was to leave everything on the field with no regrets and just have fun. We gave a good fight, played our hearts out, and walked away with no shame. We showed a glimpse of how close we are to doing something great. With hard work in the off season and a little bit of time to refocus, we will start a new journey in the 2011 season.

I want to say thank you to all the parents and fans who have supported our team this season. I know I can speak on behalf of all the girls and coaches when I say we really do appreciate the time and effort you have put into our program.

I am looking forward to an even better season next year. We have a big class of rookies coming in which will add depth and competition to our team. These two ingredients should prepare us for another great season and another run at a first ever Conference Championship.

Go Tigers!
