Sports season starts tonight for Memphis when the Women's Soccer team goes to Bowling Green, Kentucky to face WKU in an exhibition match. I'm looking forward to watching this group of Tigers in their quest for a fourth straight conference championship.
Women's Basketball has released their non-conference schedule. Should be a fun schedule to play, we open the season for a second year in a row in a double-header with the men on November 12th. The women will host Missouri that night while the men face Centenary. The women's team will also have road games at Indiana and Kansas, so I'll get to call games in two historic arenas, Alumni Hall in Bloomington and Allen Field House in Lawrence.
Football is quickly approaching, so I'm starting to make my rounds to the Liberty Bowl and various remote locations to test out phone lines for our broadcast on the Memphis Radio Network.
Also, for those that are curious, we will again have weekly coach's shows on Memphis Tiger Vision through GOTIGERSGO.COM when we host the "Wolfchase Toyota-Scion Insider". As we have the last two years, the fall shows will feature men's and women's soccer and volleyball on a weekly basis, along with other coach's throughout the fall. The first show tapings will be August 23rd.
