We have played two games in Kingsport now for the rookie league Mets. We have lost both, but they have been tight games. I have pinch ran once, but I am loving it. I want to play, but that time will come. Pro ball is a lot different, it is a lot more laid back and a lot of people speak Spanish. I knew I should have learned more from Drew Martinez and TJ Rich, haha! I spent three days in Florida before my brother's wedding then I reported to Kingsport. It is nice to only be an hour and a half from home and have people know me. I've learned a lot in a short amount of time while clocking in for my "job". It beats sitting behind a desk. We play almost every day, and there is nothing better than being around the game.
I am going to miss Memphis when school starts back, but I will be back to check in on every one. I hate we didn't always meet expectations at Memphis, but I feel as though we left a good foundation. I can't emphasize it enough, but thanks to everyone at Memphis who supported me and hopefully still do! Hopefully this is the first of many updates (and good updates). I will always be a Tiger for the many great years!
Go Tigers and Go Mets!
