1. Tiger Scholarship Fund: the fundraising unit of the UM Athletic Department. Club levels, with the highest level first, and annual donation levels at July 1, 1997, are as follows:

| Super Tiger | $5,000 - $9,999 |
| Striped Tiger | $2,500 - $4,999 |
| Bengal Tiger | $1,000 - $2,499 |
| Tom's Club | $500 - $999 |
| Tiger Tracker | $250 - $499 |
| Tiger Associate | $50 - $249 |
2. Point System: a system of assigning numerical points to various factors and totaling those points to determine priorities within the plan.
3. Season Ticket Holder: any purchaser of season tickets for the sports of football, men's basketball, women's basketball and or baseball.
4. Athletic Support Group: an organization of athletic supporters, for the sports covered by this priority plan, officially recognized by UM through a written agreement (ex. Highland Hundred)
5. Letterman: any former UM student athlete in any of the University recognized NCAA/AIAW sports.
6. Alumnus/Alumni: an individual who has earned one or more regular credit hours from UM.
7. UM Faculty and Staff: any regular or retired employee of UM.
