The University of Memphis Athletic Academic Services Department announced the Tiger Academic 30 and the Tiger 3.0 Club members for the spring 2008 semester Friday.
Two teams were also recognized for having the top GPAs as well. The volleyball team posted the highest spring GPA of all the women's sports teams with a 3.68, while the men's tennis team posted the highest men's GPA, with a 3.52 during the spring season.
Thirty student-athletes were also named to the Tiger Academic 30. The Tiger Academic 30 is made up of the student-athlete with the highest GPA on each of the teams, then the next-highest GPAs are included until there is a pool of 30 honorees on each semester's squad. The Tiger Academic 30 is listed below:
