Department receives four Nation's Best honors

Brandon Kolditz is in his eighth season as an assistant athletics communications director/graphic designer at the University of Memphis. Prior to being brought on full-time in 2006, he worked two years as a graduate assistant at the U of M.
Kolditz's responsibilities include overseeing the design and development of the university's athletic publications and digital graphics. He also serves as the school's primary communications contact for softball and the secondary contact for football.
His involvement in the media guide production has been recognized by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) in its publication contests. His publication designs have garnered eight national Best Cover awards by CoSIDA in the past four years.
A native of Sugar City, Idaho, Kolditz graduated in 2004 from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in public relations. At BYU, he spent a year as an intern in the sports information office working with the baseball team. Kolditz also served a year as the associate sports editor for the university's award winning daily student newspaper, The Daily Universe. He earned his master's degree from Memphis in 2005 in sport and leisure commerce.
Kolditz is a member of CoSIDA, the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). He is also an adjunct instructor in the Health and Sciences College of Education at Memphis and teaches a course on computer applications in sport and leisure.
He and his wife Tamara have three children, Shelby, Noah and Maddux.
