Brandon Kolditz is in his sixth season as an assistant in the media relations office. Prior to being brought on full-time in 2006, he worked two years as a graduate assistant at the U of M.

Kolditz's responsibilities include serving as the secondary media contact for football as well as overseeing the design and development of the university's athletic publications and digital graphics.

His involvement in the media guide production has been recognized by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) in its publication contests. His publication designs have garnered five national Best Cover awards by CoSIDA in the past two years. In 2010-11, the U of M's men's basketball, softball and women's tennis media guide covers were named best in the nation. In 2009-10, four Memphis media guides earned national honors with the baseball and women's basketball guides both taking the Best Cover award. The 2009 volleyball guide placed second nationally and the 2009 men's soccer guide placed fourth.

A native of Sugar City, Idaho, Kolditz graduated in 2004 from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in public relations. At BYU, he spent a year as an intern in the sports information office working with the baseball team. Kolditz also served a year as the associate sports editor for the university's award winning daily student newspaper, The Daily Universe. He earned his master's degree from Memphis in 2005 in sport and leisure commerce.

Kolditz is a member of CoSIDA, the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). He is also an adjunct instructor in the Health and Sciences College of Education at Memphis and teaches a course on computer applications in sport and leisure.

He and his wife Tamara have three children, Shelby (10), Noah (6) and Maddux who was born in May.
