Michael Oblinger joined the Tiger Scholarship Fund in July of 2007 as a Donor Relations Representative after spending the past year as a Development Assistant at The Ohio State University in the Department of Athletics.
Oblinger, a native of Mundelein, Ill., graduated from Monmouth College in Monmouth, Ill., in May of 2005 with a degree in political science. Oblinger also played basketball at Monmouth from 2002-2005.
Following graduation, Oblinger attended graduate school at Western Illinois University, receiving his master's degree in Sport Administration in May of 2007. While at WIU, he was also a graduate assistant for facilities and event management.
With the Tigers, Oblinger provides customer service for all TSF donors and recruits new donors.
Oblinger is engaged to Elizabeth Ruebush. He resides in Memphis.
