Lish Trice was named the Coordinator of Membership Enrollment for the M Club in September of 2012. A member of the University of Memphis staff since 1993, Trice served as a member of the marketing/sales staff before being named the assistant to the athletic director in 1996. Trice played defensive end for the Tigers' football team for two years, arriving on campus as a junior college transfer in 1989. A native of Henderson, Tennessee, Trice became a starter at defensive end and appeared in all 11 games of the 1989 season. He registered 10 tackles in the Florida game and by the end of the season, he had amassed 35 tackles and was the team leader in tackles for lost yardage, quarterback sacks and blocked kicks. At the conclusion of the 1989 season Trice received the Chris Faros Most Improved Player Award. The Chester County High School graduate led the squad in quarterback sacks and tackles for loss as a senior and contributed 33 tackles. |
