Returned to collegiate rifle action with an air rifle score of 571 at the Tiger Rifle Open to finish 25th individually and help Memphis to a second-place showing in that division...Also posted a smallbore score of 545 to help the Tigers to a second-place aggregate finish behind Jacksonville State...Posted scores of 561 (smallbore) and 538 (air rifle) in a dual match loss to Army...Competed as an individual when Memphis took on North Georgia College and State University and Columbus State, posting scores of 563 (smallbore) and 574 (air rifle).
Did not complete for the Tigers throughout the 2010-11 season, but is slated to return to the squad in 2011-12 for his senior campaign.
Was one of the squad's best smallbore shooters as a junior...His 568 in the event led the team at Jacksonville State...Also shot a 568 at Columbus State...Had one of his best overall outings against Army with a 567 in smallbore and a 562 in air rifle...He had his best air rifle performance of the season with a 574 against North Carolina State, and added a 569 in air rifle at the Ole Miss Invitational.
Finished the year with his career-high air rifle performance shooting a 581 at Murray State...He also registered a 578 in air rifle at UT-Martin, a 577 at the Tiger Spring Open, and a 574 against North Carolina State...At the Memphis Open, he shot a 562 in smallbore, and added a 561 in the event against N.C. State.
Competed in rifle at Stratford High School, where he was also a member of the National Honor Society.
