JACKSONVILLE, Ala. - The University of Memphis rifle team tied for second behind host Jacksonville State at the JSU Gamecock Invitational, Sunday.

Jessica Jasis scored a team-high 592 in the air rifle event, posting two 100s in standing positions 2 and 3. Keegan Singleton was second on the team with a 582, while Brian Phillips scored a 579. Andrew Hahn rounded out the team scorers with a 574.

Memphis is now done with the fall competition and will next be in action, Jan. 20th at the Newkirk Invitational at Tennessee Tech.

Memphis' 2327 tied the same score as Murray State, both finishing behind JSU's 2378. Tennessee Tech (2282), Chilton County (2275), Birmingham Southern (2250), JP O'Conner (2196), Momma Hall (2180), Austin Peay (2143), Magic City Gun Club Blue (2132), UAB (2033), Mercer (1949) and Magic City Gun Club Red (1799) rounded out the competition.
