MEMPHIS, TENN. - The University of Memphis rifle team defeated UAB and Mercer to win the Tiger Spring Open Air Rifle Tournament hosted at RangeMaster.

Memphis turned in a score of 2320 and was led by Keegan Singleton who was the individual leader, scoring a 584 in the match. He was closely followed by Kent Wilcox who posted a score of 583. Andrew Hahn and Britton Watson placed third and fourth, respectively with scores of 580 and 573.

UAB was second with a team score of 1974 and was led by Rebecca Blair who posted a 547, while Mercer finished third after turning in a score of 1844. Benjamin Whitaker led his squad with a 519.

The Tigers are shooting against Army and Kentucky on Friday and Saturday in Oxford, Miss., and will participate in the Withrow Invitational hosted by Murray State on Sunday.
