COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Memphis rifle returned from Christmas break to post a strong showing at the annual Newkirk Invitational hosted by Tennessee Tech University.

The Tigers posted a composite team score of 4,576. Air Rifle was their strongest event, scoring a 2,314.

In air rifle, Jenna Quick and Jessica Phenis both scored 581s, while Kelly Audet was a single point behind at 580, and Kaitlynn Lee registered a 572.

In smallbore, Memphis scored a 2,262. Audet led the Tigers with a 571, while Keegan Singleton posted a 566, Quick a 564, and Rustin Russell a 561.
