MARTIN, Tenn. - Memphis rifle took to the road two hours eastward to face in-state rival UT-Martin Jan. 26, and scored a composite 4,531, good enough for third overall and one point in front of the hosts.

In air rifle Memphis finished fourth shooting a 2,293 led by Jessica Phenis' 587. Kelly Audet added a 584, Jenna Quick a 565, and Keegan Singleton a 557.

Four Tigers also shot as individuals. Kaitlynn Lee shot a 570, Rustin Russell a 564, Greg Morton a 561, and Amelia Stacey a 548.

In smallbore competition Memphis shot a 2,238, good for third in the event. Quick led the team with a 569. Shooting in team competition, Singleton added a 561, Audet a 555, and Lee a 553. As individuals, Phenis shot a 568 and Russell a 551.

Murray State University won both events and was the overall champion.
