MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis rifle team won its own Spring Open with a 2331 in air rifle, Thursday. Memphis finished ahead of Mercer (1949) and UAB (1818).

Shooting without Katie Benjamin, who was ill, Memphis was led by Krissey Bahnsen and her 589. Teammate Andrew Hahn finished second with a 585 and Jessica Jasis added a 580. Brian Phillips rounded out the Memphis shooters with a 577.

Memphis will travel to Murray, Kent., to compete in the Withrow Open on Friday.
