Tigers finish first at Range Master

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis Rifle took home its first win of the Spring and second win at its home range during the 2009-2010 season with a first-place finish (out of four teams) at the Memphis Spring Open Air Rifle Tournament. The Tigers' score of 2,276 bested UAB's 2,174, Arkansas-Fort Smith's 2,074, and Mercer University's 1,987. Kelly Audet, a freshman, led the Tigers with a 576, while Jessica Phenis shot a 575, Jenna Quick a 568, and Kaitlynn Lee a 557. Audet's score was the best overall of any shooter. Also shooting for Memphis as individuals were: Greg Morton, who shot a 571, Amelia Stacey, who shot a 566, and Rustin Russell, who added a 558.
