The Tiger Rifle team turned in a new smallbore record and a new aggregate record to defeat Ole Miss.

Memphis finished the competition with a 4553 smallbore toal, a 1544 air rifle total for a combined mark of 6097. Ole Miss shot 4505 in smallbore and 1532 in air rifle. Freshman Katie Benjamin led the Tigers with a 1159-338-1547. Junior J.B. Vaughan had a personal best smallbore score of 1119.

"I was very proud of the way we competed against Ole Miss," said coach Butch Woolbright. "We had solid performances from the whole team, and this squad has really made me proud."
