MEMPHIS, Tenn. - - The University of Memphis won the Tiger Spring Open Rifle Match with a 2302, a 102 point edge over second-place UAB (2200).

Jenna Quick finished second overall with a 583, finishing behind Alabama International's Kayla Allen. Andrew Hahn finished third overall with a 580, counting in the team score, while Rustin Russell finished fifth with a 577, competing as an individual. Keegan Singleton finished seventh as a team score, with a 573, while Alex Watson finished eighth with a 570, as an individual. Also competing as an individual and finishing in the top 10 was Greg Morton and Kaitlynn Lee. Morton finished with a 569, while Lee added a 567. Jessica Phenis was Memphis' lowest team score, finishing 11th with a 566, tying teammate Amelia Stacey's score. Stacey finished 12th with her career-best tying 566 score. Luke Ryerkerk rounded out the Tiger contingent with a 562, good enough for 13th overall.

The Tigers will next face N.C. State in a GARC conference match.
