LINCOLN, Neb. - - The University of Memphis rifle team picked up a win over a top 10 team with a 4568-4563 victory at No. 8 Nebraska. Memphis scored 11 more points in the air rifle part of the meet to overcome a six point deficit following the smallbore scoring to pick up the league win.

Memphis scored a 2257 in the smallbore, with freshman Jenna Quick scoring a 568. Keegan Singleton added a 567 and Andrew Hahn a 565, while Rustin Russell added a 557 to round out the team scoring.

In the air rifle scoring, both Singleton and Quick posted 580's, with Hahn added a 579. Kaitlynn Lee, competing in just the air event, added a 572 to help Memphis to the conference victory.

Memphis will next compete at Birmingham Southern College.
