LEXINGTON, Ky. - - The University of Memphis rifle team defeated both West Virginia teams (Blue and Gold) in a neutral site match at the University of Kentucky, Sunday. Memphis scored a 4592, compared to a 2348 for West Virginia Gold and a 2283 for West Virginia Blue.

Freshman Jenna Quick led the Tigers with a 1158, the third-best individual score of the meet. Keegan Singleton also posted a top five finish, scoring an 1154.

West Virginia's Andy Lamson led all individual shooters with an 1170, while Tom Santelli fired an 1159 to finish second.

The Tigers will now break for Thanksgiving, final exams and the semester and holiday break. Their next match will be a Jan. 24th match at Tennessee Tech at the Newkirk Invitational.
