Memphis, TN - 2000 TIGER OPEN RIFLE MATCH January 22, 2000 Memphis, TN

Memphis, TN - The University claimed two match titles over the weekend winning the 2000 Tiger Open Rifle Match on Saturday and returning on Sunday to win a quad-match over Saint Louis, Arkansas and UAB. The Tigers Charles Moss placed second in the Tiger Open with a score of 379, while Annie Svolto tied for third at 377. John Carter and George Vance also placed in the top ten.

On Sunday, Memphis hosted a quad-match and turned in record scores. The team posted a score of 1514 to set an all-time Memphis mark in competition. Moss shot 389 to take first place, also a Memphis mark.
