No. 6 Memphis Rifle Earns Second NCAA Championship Berth

INDIANAPOLIS - The No. 6 Memphis Rifle team will be returning to the NCAA Championships after the NCAA announced the Tigers as part of the 2014 field of eight on Thursday afternoon.
This is the second time in program history the team has made the NCAA Championships, the last time coming in 2005.
Memphis joins an elite field of seven programs from around the country including, the Alaska-Fairbanks, Jacksonville State, Kentucky, Nebraska, TCU, U.S. Military Academy and West Virginia. A total of 48 shooters will compete in the championships.
This year's championships are hosted by Murray State and will be held March 14-15 at Pat Spurgin Rifle Range and CFSB Center on the Murray State campus.
