Oxford, MS - University of Memphis Rifle Results

The University of Memphis rifle team captured its first victory of the season by winning a quad meet hosted by the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. In capturing the title Memphis shot an all-time school record score of 1488 points out of a possible total of 1600.

Ole Miss and Austin Peay State University tied for second in the match with scores of 1405 and the University of Arkansas was fourth at 1298.

Memphis' John Carter led all shooters with a score of 386. Carter's teammate, Annie Svolto posted a 376, while the Tigers Charles Moss shot 373 and George Vance had a score of 353.
