MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Kutztown, Pennsylvania native and Kutztown High School senior Amy Fister signed her National Letter of Intent (NLI) to join the Memphis Rifle team in 2013, head coach Butch Woolbright announced Tuesday.

Despite only starting her shooting career in May of 2010 at the age of 14, Fister learned quickly and not much more than a year later she claimed her first gold medal at the NRA Air Rifle Championship in Camp Perry Ohio.

Since then, Fister has compiled several medals and competed in NRA events and the Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Throughout high school Fister has been a member of the Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club junior team as well as a standout member of the Kutztown High School rifle team.

Fister is the first signee announced by coach Woolbright.
