Scott Ensell begins his second season as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the University of Memphis baseball program. In addition to serving as Tiger baseball's primary trainer, Ensell also assists as a trainer for the U of M football team in the fall.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ensell graduated from Wilmington College, in May 2008, with a degree in athletic training. While at Wilmington, he worked primarily as a trainer with the football team.
He has garnered valuable experience as a baseball trainer, having served as an Training staff intern with the Cincinnati Reds in the summer of 2007.
Ensell is currently pursuing a master's degree in sport and leisure commerce and is scheduled to graduate in May, 2010. He aspires to work in minor league baseball upon completion of his degree.
