2008 (Sophomore): Top returning reliever out of the U of M bullpen...Logged 27.2 innings in 18 appearances...Produced a 4.55 ERA with 23 strikeouts and a save...Averaged over seven strikeouts per nine innings...Struck out 13 batters looking...Walked just 12 batters...Led the staff with two combined shutouts...Gave up 20 runs on 37 hits...Fanned one and allowed just one hit in 1.1 innings to preserve a 3-0 shutout at Arkansas State (3/11/08)...Followed that performance with four strikeouts in two scoreless innings of relief to earn his first collegiate save and help Memphis to a 2-0 shutout of SEMO (3/16/08)...Allowed just one earned run in his last eight innings of work (seven appearances).
