2009 C-USA All-Freshman...Had a standout rookie campaign, leading the Tigers with a .309 batting average, a .392 on-base percentage and 60 hits...Was the first freshman to lead a Memphis team in hitting since 1981...Started in centerfield in 46 of the 48 games he played in, including 18 of his 19 C-USA games...Scored 32 runs, drove in 12 more and stole nine bases...Got his career off to a fast start, going 3-for-5 with the game-winning RBI in Memphis' 5-4 season-opening win over Kansas (2/20/09)...Went 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in his second career game versus Bradley (2/21/09)...Hit safely in his first five collegiate games...Reached base in 15 of his first 16 games...Posted a club-high 19 multi-hit games that included a career-high 4-for-5 effort in a 13-inning win over Austin Peay (4/15/09)...
