Summer 2008: Selected as the as the No. 4 prospect in the Valley League by Baseball America...Had a standout summer as the starting shortstop for the Valley League champion, Luray Wranglers...Was selected as a Valley League All-Star...Second Team All-Valley League honoree...Hit .258 with 49 hits, 27 runs scored and six doubles in 52 games...Led Luray with 32 RBI and 22 walks...Tied for the team lead with nine homer runs...Finished the summer ranked in the league's top 10 in home runs per game, RBI per game and total bases per game.
