2003: Made 40 starts in the outfield and two at designated hitter...Batted .236 with a career-high seven home runs and 22 RBI...His seven round-trippers tied for the team lead...Made four appearances on the mound including his first career start at Middle Tennessee...Struck out five batters in 3.1 innings of work...Picked up his only save of the season and eighth of his career in a 7-4 win at UT-Martin...Had a career-high four hits and scored three runs in a 14-6 win over Southeast Missouri State...Went 2-for-4 with a home run in a 12-3 loss to Mississippi State...Became the first Tiger in school history to drive in eight runs in a contest when he belted three home runs including a grand slam in a 24-1 defeat of UT-Martin...Hit his fourth home run in five at-bats when he slugged a three-run homer in the second inning of a 9-6 win over TCU...His three-run homer gave him a total of 11 RBI in a two-game stretch...Hit a solo home run in a 4-2 win over Saint Louis.

2002: Started at four different positions in 51 games for the Tigers...One of only two Tigers to start all 51 games...Saw most of his action in leftfield where he made 33 starts...Also made starts in rightfield (14), at designated hitter (2) and at third base (2)...Led the team with a .344 batting average in C-USA games and posted a career-high .309 batting average overall...Hit safely in his first nine conference games including a 6-for-12 effort against Louisville in the conference-opening series...Led the team with 20 multiple-hit games with 14 of those coming in C-USA action...Had a season-high three RBI in two games...Finished the season with a 6-for-12 effort and five RBI in the team's series sweep of Charlotte...Also made a career-high 15 appearances on the mound where he led the team with three saves...Picked up the first win of his career in the Charlotte series when he pitched two scoreless innings...Struck out a career-high four batters in 2.2 innings vs. East Carolina.

2001: Started 57 games as the Tigers' rightfielder and made nine appearances as a spot reliever...Batted .228 with seven doubles, three triples, six home runs and 33 RBI as a true freshman...Was 5-for-10 with two home runs, a double, a triple and seven RBI in consecutive games vs. Eastern Illinois and Charlotte...Gave up no runs, three hits and picked up four saves in his first seven appearances of the season.

Prep: Lettered four years for former Tiger Lane McCarter at Houston High...Batted .410 to help lead the Mustangs to a 30-8 record and a third-place finish in the Tennessee state tournament as a senior...Named All-Metro as a senior and one of the Commercial Appeal's Super Five as a junior...Also lettered three years in football and two in wrestling and was named Commercial Appeal's Best of the Preps Male Athlete of the Year for Shelby County as a senior.
