Nicole Saffer

Nicole Saffer returns for her third year as an athletic trainer with the University of Memphis baseball and football teams. Since her arrival at the University in August 2003, she has also assisted the head athletic trainer with the care of athletes from other sports such as track and field, tennis, and cheerleading.

A native of Manalapan, N.J., Saffer earned her bachelor's degree in sports medicine from High Point University in North Carolina in 2001, where she served as a student trainer for three years.

She earned her Strength and Conditioning certification in the fall of 2005 and then received her master's degree in health promotion in December 2005.
