Prep A four-year letterman for head coach Will Smith at Spain Park High School in Hoover, Ala., has seen action at third base, but primarily played catcher for the Jaguars...Hit .350 with six home runs and 39 RBI in his senior season...Spain Park's career-hits leader, White hit .400 with six home runs and three triples, while leading the Jaguars to a 31-15 finish in 2010...A two-time recipient of SPHS's "Rising Jaguar" Award, White's numbers earned several honors...Named to the Over the Mountain first team, as well as garnering first team All-Region 6 and first team All-County recognition...Voted to the Alabama All-Star Team and participated in the state's North/West All-Star Game...Played summerball for the Excel Blue Wave and head coach Steve Gendron...Stood out on the squad, earning USSSA All-American honors...After participating in the 2009 USSSA All-American Game, White was selected to represent the U.S. on the 2010 USSSA High School National Team that traveled to Japan to play five games against international competition...Helped Team USSSA to a 2-1-2 showing in Japan, including going 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in one of the club's wins...A multi-sport athlete at SPHS, White earned two letters on the gridiron and one on the hardwood.
