Memphis (30-26) defeated Southern Miss (30-24) on Wednesday in game one of the 2012 Conference USA Championship presented by Trustmark

Started every game at third base...Second on the team and C-USA with 51 RBI...Had only three errors in 152 chances at the hot corner and helped turn seven double plays...Second on team with six home runs and collected the third-most doubles with 14...Was 11-for-14 on the basepaths, collecting two steals in a game on two occassions during the season...Had 14 multi-hit games, including a 4-for-5, three RBI game in the series opener at UAB (4/16/11)...Had a season-long nine-game hit streak...
