MEMPHIS, Tenn. - When Memphis officially ushers in the 2013 campaign on February 15, it will mark a monumental milestone in the program's history as the 100th year of baseball makes its debut.

Online voting begins today on GoTigersGo.com and will be available until Tuesday, April 2. The All-Century Team will be announced on Thursday, April 4, the 100-year anniversary of the first game.

“I think this is an outstanding way for former players and fans to celebrate this occasion,” head coach Daron Schoenrock said. “What a tremendous honor it will be for 18 players to be named to this All-Century Team. This is a great opportunity to look back at the former Tigers great who beat the path to make this program what it is today.”

Eighteen greats will be included on the All-Century team including; five starting pitchers, four outfielders, two relief pitchers, two designated hitters or utility players, a catcher, a first baseman, a second baseman, a third baseman and a shortstop.

Prominent players were selected by former coaches and staff at the University of Memphis, but write-in candidates are accepted. If your choice is not available, enter the players name in the other category before submitting your online ballot.

Online voting is not the only place to vote as ballots will be available at the 100 Year Celebration Banquet on Saturday, February 9. Ballots will be made available at home games, concluding with the AutoZone Park game against Ole Miss on April 2.
