2009 Memphis Baseball Schedule 
University of Memphis head baseball coach Daron Schoenrock announced that the Tigers' three games that were originally scheduled to be played at Southaven's Snowden Grove Park have been moved to Tony Gagliano Memorial Field. The change of playing fields, game times and the addition of a TV game are all updates that will affect five contests in the 2009 season.
The three tilts affected by the field change are the games versus Murray State (Feb. 24), UT-Martin (Mar. 17) and Arkansas State (April 7). The Murray State game time has been moved up an hour to 3 p.m., while the UT-Martin and Arkansas State matchups will keep their scheduled 6:30 p.m. first pitch times. Gagliano Field is located at 2590 Mount Moriah, behind the Memphis Police Department's East Precinct and Halle Stadium.
Originally scheduled for a 5 p.m. first pitch at AutoZone Park, the Tigers' May 12 matchup with Mississippi State has been changed to 3 p.m. The showdown will be part of a doubleheader with the Memphis Redbirds, who will host the Las Vegas 51's at 7:05 p.m.
CSS has agreed to televise Memphis' April 24th series opener at Tulane. First pitch is at 6 p.m.
The Tigers open 2009 play on Fri., Feb. 20 against Kansas in the Service Academies Spring Classic at Millington's USA Stadium. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m.
