Ticket Prices Announced for Tiger Baseball
Feb. 14, 2013
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis Athletic Department announced Thursday that admission will be free for the opening weekend baseball series against Illinois State at FedExPark. Tiger fans are encouraged to come out and see this year's squad in action. Beginning with the Arkansas State game on February 19, single game admission is $5 for adults 13-and-up and $3 for children ages 6-12. Children ages five and under and U of M students with ID cards are admitted free. Season ticket packages are available for $25 and cover the remaining 31 home games after opening weekend. The Tigers play two games at AutoZone Park and those two matchups are not included in the season ticket package. Admission will be $10 for each contest at AutoZone Park. General group tickets are on sale for $2 for groups of 10 or more. Group tickets are offered for games played at FedExPark (with the exception of the Tennessee game) only. However, they must be purchased in advance at the Athletic Ticket Office. Tickets will be made available online HERE. Posters and schedule cards were printed for the 2013 season and the FREE ADMISSION seen on the poster was meant for the opening series only. The Athletic Department regrets the error and is thus releasing this information. Memphis opens the 100th year of Tiger Baseball on Friday at 4 p.m. against Illinois State at FedExPark. Game two of the series is slated for 2 p.m. on Saturday and the series finale is Sunday at 1 p.m.
