Memphis has won three-straight against Ole Miss entering Wednesday's matchup. LHP Caleb Wallingford will make his third start and second on the road against an SEC foe. 



• Memphis is in its 101st year of baseball with a record of 1676-1273-16.  
• The Tigers are receiving votes (RV) in the USA Today Coaches Poll and the NCBWA Poll this week.  
• Ironman SS Ethan Gross has started in a program-record 163 consecutive games.  
• 3B Drew Griffin was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after hitting .333 with 1 HR, 5 RBI and 4 R last week. 
• The Tigers are 10-1 to start a season, the best start since 1994. 
• Memphis' bullpen has a 4-0 record with 9 SV in 40.2 IP and an ERA of 1.77. 
• Tigers have won three-straight versus Ole Miss. Only twice since 1978 have the Tigers won four-straight.

• On the mound, the Rebels have an impressive 1.75 ERA with 96 strikeouts against 30 walks in 113 innings. 


• Ole Miss holds a 52-35 advantage in the series dating back to 1978, but Memphis has won three-straight meetings between the two sides and five of the last seven. 
• Since 1978, the Tigers are 15-31 in games played at Oxford.  


• Memphis is one of 18 teams in NCAA D-1 to have 10 or more wins this season.
