LHP Colin Lee will start, but expect to see the Tigers bullpen empty as Lee will be on a pre-determined pitch count to be ready for the opening weekend of conference play.

• Memphis is in its 101st year of baseball with a record of 1699-1282-16. 
• Ironman SS Ethan Gross has started in a program-record 171 consecutive games.
• Memphis and Murray State meet for the 63rd time since 1978 on Tuesday.
• Tigers lead the series against Murray State 40-22 dating back to 1978.
• Following this four-game homestand, Memphis embarks on a nine-game road swing.
• Memphis’ upcoming nine-game road swing is the longest since a 10-game trip from March 3 at Mississippi State to March 22 at Louisville in the 1998 season.
• Memphis is 13-6, the best start since the 2007 team got off to a 14-6 start.
• The Tigers 13-6 start is only the second since 1994.
• Starting pitchers for the Tigers are 0-2 with a 4.71 ERA in the last seven games.

• The ‘Breds took two of three against UT Martin over the weekend and have won five of their last eight games.  
• Offensively, Murray State is hitting .290 with 44 doubles, two triples, two home runs and 105 RBI on 116 runs scored.  
• Ty Stetson leads the club, hitting .429 with six doubles and 17 walks for a .561 on-base percentage. 
• Tyler Lawrence hits .354 and leads the team with seven doubles and 16 RBI. 
• On the mound, the ‘Breds sport a 4.26 ERA allowing 96 runs, 71 earned, on 154 hits in 150 innings of work. 
• The staff has struck out 112 and walked 48 to hold opponents to a .268 average against.  

THE SERIES

• The Tigers and ‘Breds meet for the 63rd time since 1978. 
• Memphis defeated Murray State last season 5-0 at FedExPark to improve to 40-22 against the ‘Breds since 1978.   
• The Tigers are 19-10 against Murray State on the home field.
