LHP Ryan Garner is slated for his second career start as the Tigers being a nine-game road trip. 

AROUND THE HORN

• Memphis is in its 101st year of baseball with a record of 1701-1284-16. 
• Ironman SS Ethan Gross has started in a program-record 175 consecutive games.
• The Tigers begin a nine-game road trip with Tuesday’s game at Arkansas State. In fact, the Tigers go 19 days between home games at FedExPark.
• Memphis’ nine-game road swing is the longest since a 10-game trip from March 3 at Mississippi State to March 22 at Louisville in the 1998 season.

SCOUTING THE RED WOLVES

• Arkansas State has won seven of its last nine games to enter Tuesday’s game with a record of 13-10.  
• The Red Wolves took two of three at UT-Arlington over the weekend and return to Jonesboro sporting a 9-6 record on the home field.  
• The Red Wolves hit .283 with 45 doubles, eight triples and five home runs for 122 RBI on 150 runs scored.  
• Arkansas State has been active on the base paths, swiping 35 steals on 39 attempts. 
• Lucas Feddersen leads the club with a .333 average while Matt Burgess has a team-high 25 RBI. 
• Austin Baker has three doubles, four triples and four home runs with 19 RBI and eight steals.   
• On the mound, ASU sports a 4.02 ERA with 99 runs allowed, 92 earned, on 207 hits in 206 innings.
• The staff has 163 strikeouts against 80 walks and has held opponents to a .261 average against.
