@MemphisBaseball Players in the Pros Update

Major League Baseball season began earlier this week and the minor league season begins on Thursday. Eleven Memphis Baseball alums are scattered across the country playing professional baseball highlighted by Dan Uggla with the Atlanta Braves.
Three former Tigers are at the Triple-A level to begin the season. Scott McGregor opens with the Memphis Redbirds, Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. Jarrett Grube (Salt Lake Bees/Los Angeles Angels) and Derek Hankins (Toledo Mud Hens/Detroit Tigers) alo suit up for the Triple-A teams.
The Binghamton Mets, Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets, roster features Tigers alum Ryan Fraser for opening day. Ben Paullus was traded in the offseason from the New York Yankees organization to the San Diego Padres organization and Paullus begins the 2014 campaign at High-A Lake Elsinore. Jacob Wilson is also at the High-A level playing for the Palm Beach Cardinals and the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
Four other former Tigers begin the campaign on the injured list and are not assigned to a minor league roster to this date.
