MEMPHIS, Tenn. - University of Memphis baseball head coach Daron Schoenrock announced Monday that the postponed game with Ole Miss has been rescheduled for Monday, Apr. 15 at AutoZone Park. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. (CT).

All tickets purchased for the originally-scheduled Apr. 2 game will be honored at the gate on Apr. 15.

"This will be a very good challenge for our young club," Schoenrock said. "We wanted to make sure we kept this game on the schedule to protect the tradition that these two schools have in a lot of sports.

"This also gives our fans a chance to enjoy a game at AutoZone Park. Both teams will be coming off conference weekends and both also play a game on Tuesday (April 16). It will be five games in five days for both teams. This gives our guys a little taste of what professional baseball is like."

The Tigers will play five games in five days with the rescheduled Ole Miss game added on Apr. 15. Memphis travels to UAB for a Conference USA weekend series Apr. 12-14, before hosting Ole Miss at AutoZone Park Apr. 15 and Murray State at FedExPark Apr. 16.
