The player having the first hole-in-one on hole No. 4 will receive a New Car courtesy of Landers Ford in Southaven.
"I am very excited to see this golf scramble unfold," head coach Daron Schoenrock said. "We've never undertaken one of these in the spring, but with the help of Larry Edwards we are able to do it. We will combine this golf tournament with a weekend series at FedExPark and that makes it more exciting. I always love getting former players around the program and golf is a good way to entice those players to come back and hang out with the Tigers for a weekend."
Held in conjunction with Alumni Weekend at FedExPark, all entrants to the scramble receive free admission to the Friday, May 4, contest against UAB at 6:30 p.m. and the Saturday, May 5, game at 2:00 p.m. against UAB. All entrants receive lunch, sponsored by Community Mortgage, on Friday at 11 a.m. at Cherokee and also lunch on Saturday May 5th at FedEx Park at 12 noon prior to the UAB game at 2pm.
