MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis baseball team will look to sweep the season series with Austin Peay when they travel to Clarksville, Tenn. to make up a non-conference matchup that was postponed due to inclement weather on April 13. First pitch for Wednesday evening's contest at Raymond C. Hand Field is set for 6:30 p.m.

The Tigers bring a 22-19 mark into the contest after dropping two of three to Tulane in a Conference USA series over the weekend. The 22 wins are the most by a U of M team since the 2001 team won 34 ballgames. Memphis was victorious in the first game of the 2004 home-and-home series with APSU, in a 5-2 decision on March 23 at AutoZone Park.

Austin Peay has a 28-14 record and is first in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Governors have won six of their last seven games, including taking two of three in an OVC weekend series with Eastern Illinois.

Memphis will continue the six-game road swing when they hit the road for this weekend's conference series at Houston, before traveling to Murfreesboro, Tenn. to take on Middle Tennessee in a pair of mid week tilts on May 11-12.
