MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis has released its 2000 baseball schedule, which contains some fierce regional rivalries and tough Conference USA matchups.

The tigers will open on February 15th at home against UT Martin, then travel to Monroe, LA. to face the University of Louisiana at Monroe, formerly known as Northeastern Louisiana University.

Other trips for the Tigers include away games in Hattiesburg, MS at Southern Miss, St. Louis, MO against Saint Louis, and Cincinnati, OH.

Homestands include Mississippi State, Tulane, and South Florida.

The Tigers will once again be participating in the Service Academies Spring Classic at USA Stadium in Millington along with Army, Navy, Air Force, Ohio State, and Notre Dame.

This year's Conference USA Tournament will be held in Tampa, Florida from May 16-21.

The Tigers play their home games at Nat Buring Field at the Murphy Athletic Complex off of Getwell Road near Park Avenue.
