In conjunction with its annual Blue-Gray Game, the University of Memphis baseball program will host Lunch and Lockers Featuring U of M Men's Basketball Coach Josh Pastner, Sat., Oct. 30 at Noon at FedExPark. Cost for the event is $5.
"Memphis Tiger Baseball, under Coach Rock's lead, is on a tremendous upward climb," said Pastner. "Their third-place C-USA finish last season, the returning team they have for 2011 and the back-to-back top recruiting classes are all great reasons to get behind this program. The second-year Tiger basketball coach will talk briefly about the importance of supporting of the Tiger baseball program. Pastner will also field questions on various aspects of the Tiger basketball program.
"We are honored that Coach Pastner takes the time out of his busy schedule to help out program," said Tiger skipper, Schoenrock.
In addition to a brief address by Pastner, the luncheon will feature a "Sneak Preview" of the 2011 edition of Tiger Baseball, a tour of FedExPark, an update on the U of M baseball program as well as future plans for the Tiger baseball facility.
