Carrier is a freshman outfielder out of Christian Brothers High School.

Question 1: Why did you choose to play for the Tigers?

Chris: It's really close to home and real convenient and I wanted to stay close to home.

Question 2: What's been the biggest adjustment you've had to make to the college game?

Chris: Definitely the speed of the game; and the competition is a lot higher.

Question 3: Who's your favorite MLB player, and why?

Chris: I would have to say Mike Trout. He's an inspiration because he's an awesome outfielder. He's a five-tool player and that's my goal.

Question 4: If you didn't play baseball, what sport would you choose to play and why?

Chris: Football because it's my second favorite sport. I played it in high school, and probably would've played it here too.

Question 5: What's your favorite thing to do when you're not on the field?

Chris: Relax with the time I have to spare. I love to go outside and play basketball with my friends.

Question 6: Favorite restaurant in Memphis?

Chris: Rendezvous. I love the ribs.

Question 7: How did you get started playing baseball?
