Began practicing with the Tigers as a walk-on in late January ... dressed for the first time when the Tigers played host to Louisville ... played the final 1:24 in his first game dressed out in a Memphis uniform against Louisville ... scored his first career points when he banked in a three-pointer with 0.5 seconds to play in the Tigers' 77-49 win over National Division co-champion Tulane.

Averaged 8.2 points, 9.0 assists and 1.9 steals at Adamsville High School ... was an all-region selection as both a junior and senior ... prep team was region and sectional champions, advancing to the state quarterfinals his senior year ... holds the sectional championship victory as the most memorable game in high school because it was the first time the team claimed the West Tennessee sectional title ... senior year team posted a 21-4 record ... high school coach was Greg Martin.
