  Memphis at UConn - Series Notes
  • Today's game vs. Connecticut in Hartford, Conn., was Memphis' first trip to play in the state of Connecticut in the program's history.

  • When UConn played in Memphis Jan. 16, it was the Huskies' first trip to the Bluff City.

  • With today's win, UConn took a 2-1 lead in the series.

  • UConn has won the last two meetings with today's victory and the 83-73 win in Memphis Jan. 16.

  • Today's game was the first overtime game of the 2013-14 season for Memphis. The last overtime game for the Tigers came in the Conference USA Tournament championship game last season, a 91-79 double overtime victory over Southern Miss on Mar. 16, 2013.

  • Memphis is now 3-3 vs. NCAA Division I schools from the state of Connecticut. The Tigers are 1-0 vs. Fairfield and Yale, 1-2 vs. Connecticut and 0-1 vs. Central Connecticut.

  • Today's game was the sixth game for the Tigers in the New England region. Memphis now is 1-5 in those trips to New England.

  • Memphis fell to 5-2 in single-digit outcome games this season. UConn improves to 6-4 in single-digit games in 2013-14.

  • In the Josh Pastner era, the Tigers are 44-22 (.667 winning percentage) in single-digit outcome games.

  • Michael Dixon Jr. pulled down a season-high six rebounds today.

  • Shaq Goodwin set a career high with five blocked shots in today's game.

  • Joe Jackson moved up the Memphis career scoring chart with his 24 points vs. Connecticut Saturday. He remained in the No. 9 spot and now has 1,583 points. Up next for Jackson is Bill Cook, who is No. 8 with 1,629 career points from 1972-76.

  • Jackson set a season high with 24 points in today's contest.

  • Chris Crawford also moved up the Tigers career scoring list with his 12 points vs. Connecticut Saturday. He moved up to the No. 30 spot with his 1,157 career points. Up next for Crawford is Vincent Askew, who scored 1,171 career points (1984-87).

  Up Next for Memphis
  • Memphis remains on the road Thursday, Feb. 20 when it travels to Piscataway, N.J., to face Rutgers. The game, to air on CBS Sports Network, is slated for a 6 p.m. (CT) start.
