  Memphis vs. Florida - Series Notes
  • Florida now leads the all-time series over Memphis 2-0.

  • The last meeting between the two programs came in the 1976 Big Sun Tournament championship game, which Florida won 84-83.

  • Tonight's Memphis-Florida meeting was the first between the two programs since 1976-77 (37 seasons ago).

  Memphis vs. Florida - Team Notes
  • The 75 points scored tonight by Memphis were the most allowed by Florida in a game this season. The previous high by a Florida opponent was 66 by Florida State on Nov. 29.

  • Memphis forced Florida into a season-high 17 turnovers. Memphis has forced 12 or more turnovers in all nine games this season.

  • Florida finished with 13 offensive rebounds and outrebounded Memphis 37-26.

  • Five Tigers scored in double figures in tonight's contest (Crawford-12, Dixon Jr.-10, Jackson-17, Johnson-13, Pellom-12). This is the third time this season Memphis has had five or more players score in double figures in a game (five against Nicholls on Nov. 23, and six against Austin Peay on Nov. 14). 

  Memphis vs. Florida - Player Notes
    • Before the Tigers headed to New York for the Jimmy V Classic, Joe Jackson walked at the University of Memphis' 2013 fall commencement. Jackson, who graduated this past summer, makes it 10 Tigers that graduated in the 2013 calendar year.

    • Joe Jackson moved up the Memphis career scoring chart with his 17 points vs. Florida on Tuesday. He remained in 15th place on the Memphis all-time list with 1,346 points. Up next for Jackson is Robert Dozier, who is No. 14 with 1,381 career points from 2005-09.

    • Senior Chris Crawford played in his 105th consecutive contest vs. Florida tonight.

    • Crawford, who went over 1,000 points for his career Dec. 13, moved up the Tigers career scoring list with his 12 points vs. Florida tonight. He now is in the No. 46 spot with 1,015 career points.

    • Crawford set a season high with four 3-point field goals in Tuesday night's contest. The senior guard has made 184 career three-pointers, the fourth most three-point field goals made in Memphis history.

    • Graduate student transfer David Pellom netted a season-high 12 points vs. Florida tonight.

    • Senior Geron Johnson scored in double figures for the second straight game, finishing Tuesday's game with 13 points.

    • Sophomore Shaq Goodwin matched a career high with five assists in tonight's game.

    • The four senior guards for the Tigers all scored in double figures in the same game for the first time this season (Jackson-17, Johnson-13, Crawford-12, Dixon Jr.-10).
