Memphis registered its 100th win at FedExForum with today's victory. With the victory, Memphis improves to 100-10 (.909 win pct.) in games played at FedExForum, extending its home winning streak to 22 games.

Tuesday's victory is also Memphis' 100th victory against Ohio Valley Conference institutions. Memphis ties the all-time series with today's victory at 2-2.

Five Tigers scored in double figures for Memphis in a contest for the first time since Memphis defeated Maryland in the NCAA Tournament Second Round last season.

December 22nd has been kind to the Tigers as today marks the second-consecutive Dec. 22nd game that five Tigers have scored in double figures. Last season, Memphis defeated Drexel on Dec. 22 with a 87-49 victory.

The Tigers improve to 27-5 in games played over the holidays (Dec. 22-Jan. 4) and have won 12 straight games during that time. 

Memphis had a season-high 22 assists in the contest. Memphis' previous high on the season was 18 against Central Arkansas. Memphis' 22 assists are the most in any contest since the 85-64 victory over East Carolina on January 28, 2009


 

 

Doneal Mack scored seven of Memphis' first nine points en route to scoring double figures in back-to-back games for the first time since the 2009 C-USA Tournament against Houston and Tulsa.

Pierre Henderson-Niles set a season-high with two steals in the game. Willie Kemp tied his season-high with four steals. The Tigers finished the game with 13 steals and it is the seventh game that Memphis has posted 10 or more steals in a game.

Doneal Mack now has 199 three-pointers for his career and needs only one to reach the 200-treys made plateau.

Elliot Williams set a season-high and Memphis high with nine rebounds. Williams also tied his career-high with eight assists which he set against Central Arkansas on Nov. 24.

Wesley Witherspoon scored a career high 15 points and finished with double-figures in back-to-back games for the first time in his career.
