Tigers to Begin Eight-Game CBSC Slate, With Each Available Online

The University of Memphis and CBS College Sports Network have announced that eight Tigers men's basketball games will be televised by the network during the remainder of the regular season. Current annual subscribers to Memphis All-Access will receive live streaming video of the TV feed of ALL of these games as part of their subscriptions, making this the perfect time for fans to purchase an annual subscription. (MORE INFO!) The first CBSC game for Memphis (11-3, 1-0 C-USA) will be this Saturday against UCF (10-4, 0-0) at 4 p.m. CT in Orlando, Fla.

Here is the complete schedule of Memphis basketball games on CBS College Sports Network this season:

  • January 10 - at UCF, 4 p.m. CT
  • January 17 - vs. UAB, 7 p.m. CT
  • January 24 - women's basketball at Marshall, 11 a.m. CT
  • January 31 - vs. Houston, Noon CT
  • February 4 - at SMU, 8 p.m. CT
  • February 11 - vs. Tulsa, 7 p.m. CT
  • February 14 - at Southern Miss, 4 p.m. CT
  • February 18 - vs. SMU, 7 p.m. CT
  • March 4 - at Houston, 7 p.m. CT
  • March 7 - women's basketball C-USA semifinals (if Memphis reaches this round)
  • March 13 - C-USA semifinals (if Memphis reaches this round)

Current annual subscribers to Memphis All-Access will receive the CBSC broadcasts for FREE as part of their annual package. Those subscribers can just log in with their Memphis All-Access account and begin watching the games. All others can access each live video stream for a one-time payment of $9.95. Please note that monthly subscribers will have to purchase the pay-per-views. As always, annual and monthly subscribers to Memphis All-Access will be able to listen to live audio coverage of the games.

The games also will be broadcast nationally on CBS College Sports Network, which is channel 222 on Comcast cable in the Memphis area, as well as channel 613 on DirecTV and channel 152 on Dish Network/Echostar. For information on the availability of CBS College Sports in your area, click here.

The online video stream of Saturday's broadcast also will be free for current annual subscribers to Knights All-Access (UCF's All-Access product) and to current annual subscribers to XXL - which gives fans additional access to content from schools in the CBS Interactive network across a variety of sports. The broadcasts will be some of the hundreds of events to be offered on a pay-per-view basis by CBS College Sports Network during the 2008-09 school year.
